    Terms of Service

    Last updated: January 4, 2026

    1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Taflex Logistics services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Taflex Logistics Ltd ("Taflex," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of our courier and delivery services throughout Greater London and surrounding areas.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these Terms of Service periodically to stay informed of any updates.

    • Multi-Drop Services: Efficient routing for multiple delivery destinations from a single pickup point
    • Regular Contract Services: Tailored solutions for businesses requiring ongoing courier support

Service availability may vary based on traffic conditions, weather, and operational capacity. We endeavour to provide accurate estimated delivery times, though these are not guaranteed and may be affected by circumstances beyond our control.

    3. Booking and Payment Terms

All bookings must be made through our official website, mobile application, or by contacting our customer service team directly. By placing a booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.

Pricing Structure: Our prices are calculated based on several factors including distance between pickup and delivery locations, service type selected, package dimensions and weight, time of booking, and any additional services requested. All prices displayed on our website are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable.

Payment Methods: We accept payment via major credit and debit cards, bank transfers for account customers, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. Payment is generally required at the time of booking unless you hold an approved credit account with us.

Account Customers: Approved business customers may apply for a credit account. Account terms, including credit limits and payment periods, will be agreed separately. Late payments may incur interest charges and may result in suspension of credit facilities.

Price Accuracy: We make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy. However, if an error occurs, we reserve the right to correct the price and offer you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel your booking for a full refund.

    4. Customer Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to the following responsibilities:

    • Provide accurate and complete pickup and delivery addresses, including postcodes and any access instructions
    • Ensure someone is available to hand over packages at the pickup location at the agreed time
    • Ensure someone is available to receive packages at the delivery location, or provide safe place instructions
    • Package items securely and appropriately for transportation by motorcycle
    • Accurately describe the contents of packages when requested
    • Declare the value of items over £500 to arrange appropriate insurance cover
    • Notify us immediately of any changes to pickup or delivery arrangements

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delays, additional charges, or our inability to complete the delivery. We cannot be held liable for issues arising from inaccurate information or inadequate packaging provided by the customer.

    5. Prohibited Items

For safety, legal, and insurance reasons, we are unable to transport the following items:

    • Illegal substances: Any controlled drugs, narcotics, or contraband materials
    • Weapons and ammunition: Firearms, knives, explosives, or any offensive weapons
    • Hazardous materials: Flammable liquids, corrosive substances, radioactive materials, or biohazards
    • Perishable goods: Food items, flowers, or other perishables (unless specifically agreed in advance)
    • High-value financial instruments: Cash, bearer bonds, cheques, or negotiable instruments
    • Live animals: Pets, livestock, or any living creatures
    • Human remains: Ashes, cremated remains, or biological samples
    • Fragile items without appropriate packaging: Glassware, ceramics, or electronics without protective packaging
    • Oversized items: Items exceeding our size and weight restrictions for motorcycle transport

If prohibited items are discovered, we reserve the right to refuse carriage, terminate the delivery, and report any illegal items to the appropriate authorities. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.

    6. Liability and Insurance Coverage

Taflex Logistics maintains comprehensive goods-in-transit insurance to protect your items during transport. Our standard coverage provides protection for items valued up to £500 per consignment at no additional charge.

Extended Insurance: For items valued above £500, additional insurance coverage can be arranged upon request prior to dispatch. The cost of extended coverage will be quoted based on the declared value. Failure to declare high-value items may result in claims being limited to the standard coverage amount.

Limitations of Liability: Our liability is limited to the lesser of the actual value of the goods or the applicable insurance coverage amount. We are not liable for:

    • Delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents, or other circumstances beyond our control
    • Damage arising from inadequate or unsuitable packaging provided by the customer
    • Loss or damage to prohibited items
    • Consequential losses, including lost profits, business interruption, or missed deadlines
    • Items left at a "safe place" as instructed by the customer or recipient
    • Damage to items with inherent defects or fragile nature not disclosed at booking

Proof of delivery, including signature or photographic evidence, constitutes completion of our contractual obligations. We maintain detailed records of all deliveries for dispute resolution purposes.

    7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances change, and we aim to provide fair cancellation terms:

    • More than 2 hours before scheduled pickup: Full refund of all charges
    • Within 2 hours of scheduled pickup: 50% refund to cover administrative and preparation costs
    • After courier dispatch: No refund available as resources have been committed
    • Failed delivery due to recipient unavailability: Redelivery fee may apply

Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days using the original payment method. Account customers will receive a credit note against future services.

Rescheduling: Bookings can be rescheduled free of charge if requested more than 2 hours before the original pickup time, subject to availability. Late rescheduling requests may incur additional fees.

    8. Claims Procedure

If you experience any issues with your delivery, please follow our claims procedure:

    • Time Limit: All claims for loss or damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery (or expected delivery time for lost items)
    • Notification: Contact our customer service team immediately via email or phone to report the issue
    • Documentation: Provide photographic evidence of any damage, original receipts or proof of value, and a detailed description of the issue
    • Investigation: We will investigate all claims thoroughly and respond within 14 business days
    • Resolution: Valid claims will be settled by repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate

Claims submitted after the 24-hour period may not be accepted. Items showing signs of tampering, repackaging, or use after delivery may void any claim. Our decision on claims is final, though you may escalate disputes through appropriate legal channels.

    9. Data Protection and Privacy

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Information we collect includes contact details, delivery addresses, payment information, and communication records. This data is used solely for service provision, customer support, and legitimate business purposes.

Your continued use of our services following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you should discontinue use of our services. For significant changes, we may provide additional notice via email to registered customers.

    11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
